ASTEL wins the NCPOC tender

According to tender for technical support services for the main telecommunication systems of NCPOC, ASTEL was announced the winner. July 01 ASTEL and NC Production Operations Company B.V. signed an agreement on the technical support of the main telecommunication systems, both on land and offshore facilities. For the first time, a Kazakhstani telecommunications company receives the status of a general contractor in such a significant project.

 Now ASTEL is preparing to send its personnel to the Atyrau region, who will work at Kashagan and Karabatan on a rotational basis. As you know, at oil facilities, especially at such complex ones as Kashagan, special attention is paid to safety issues. “All of our employees have received safety training,” says Laura Ten, Head of International Projects. - And everyone we will hire will also study and receive the necessary admissions. We have an HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) service that is responsible for strictly adhering to all safety requirements for people and the environment. Our company has implemented health, safety, environment and safety policies that apply not only to employees involved in such projects, but to all personnel in general.

Permits, medical examinations - all this functions in accordance with OHSAS-18001. " Currently, the final stage of mobilization for the implementation of the scope of work under this agreement is underway: the necessary personnel has been accepted and continues to be accepted; on the basis of Atyrau RD, work was carried out to organize a laboratory and warehouses for NCPOC equipment; work is underway to conclude subcontracting agreements under which equipment from leading world brands will be supported.
