A satellite Internet connection is an excellent solution for businesses that operate in remote regions with lack of infrastructure.
To provide the service we use a new SkyEdge C satellite platform which allows agricultural and manufacturing enterprises, oil and gas industry facilities, geological exploration and other business entities to get 24/7 Internet access at speeds up to 8 Mbit/s.
The connection is based on VSAT technologies. To connect to the Internet the client installs a satellite equipment, which includes:
- satellite antenna with a diameter of 0.75 cm
- equipment for receiving and transmitting satellite signals (BUC+LNB)
- satellite router providing interaction with ASTEL central HUB-station and transmission of traffic to the client's local network.
A satellite set of equipment can be connected to either a single computer or a local network of the client.
