ASTEL decided to maintain a good tradition and re-organized the Relay of Kindness campaign.

On May 16, the “Donor Day” was organized in the Almaty office of our Company, together with the “Red Crescent of Kazakhstan” and the Republican Blood Center in Almaty. An unfortunate accident with the loss of blood from the victims can occur at any moment and in any place.

It takes some time to donate blood and its components, and blood may be needed immediately. Often, people begin to think about the importance of donation only when they come face to face with the need for a blood transfusion.

In Kazakhstan, according to the data of the Republican Blood Center, there are only 18 blood donors per 1000 people. Anyone may need donated blood at some point. ASTEL decided to support the good tradition that began in 2014 and re-organized the Relay of Good event.
