ASTEL presented mobile satellite communications solutions at the Digital Army Day exhibition in Astana. On February 6, ASTEL took part in the Digital Army Day exhibition organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry. The purpose of the event is to organize interaction between domestic equipment manufacturers and IT developers with the Ministry of Defense and other power structures of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of equipping with modern technical means, software and communication services.

For 25 years, ASTEL has been offering complex solutions in the telecommunications market of Kazakhstan and implementing large-scale projects in the interests of its customers. Since 2012, we have been engaged in the development, supply and technical support of autonomous satellite communication systems. Within the framework of the event, satellite communication systems developed by ASTEL were presented:

1. Portable satellite communications complex of rapid deployment PSC-300 is a portable satellite complex for the operational organization of communication of mobile units, which provides data transmission, video broadcasting and telephone communication from any point of deployment, even in the most difficult conditions.

PSC-300 allows you to provide telephone communication, data transmission over IP protocol at a speed of 2 Mb / s, video signal reception from wireless cameras and a quadcopter, within a radius of up to 1 kilometer, and its retransmission through a satellite channel, as well as organization of a wireless network (WiFi) with a radius coverage up to 200 meters.

2. Car communication kit - a set of satellite communications for installation on any type of vehicle, which provides access to the Internet and telephone communications anywhere in Kazakhstan.

3. Small satellite complex - a compact wearable satellite communication complex that provides access to the Internet at a speed of up to 4 Mbit / s., Telephone communication and Wi-Fi with a coverage area of ​​up to 30 meters. The equipment we presented aroused great interest from the sides of the exhibition participants, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Defense and Space Administration. Commenting on the past exhibition, Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev noted: “Together with the IT community, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry, we talked about possible points of contact.

Our position here is unambiguous - it is important for us that as many Kazakhstani companies as possible are involved in the implementation of the tasks of the defense industry. First, it is Kazakhstani content. Secondly, it is the security of the country. ”The Minister of Defense, in turn, expressed interest in further expanding ties with Kazakhstani manufacturers and suppliers of communication services.
