ASTEL became a partner of the CISCO STARS-2019 Olympiad of the Eurasian National University on April 5, 2019 at the Faculty of Information Technologies of the ENU. L.N. Gumilyov held a solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the international Olympiad on network technologies "CISCO STARS-2019"

“To solve this problem, our university, together with partner-employers, is systematically working to develop new educational programs and ensure certification of its students for the products of world vendors, such as Cisco, Huawei, Microsoft, SAP (SAP), Oracle, etc.”, - said the vice-rector. The goal of the Olympiad was to create conditions to support talented students, to disseminate and popularize scientific and practical knowledge in the field of network technologies among young people, to develop a creative approach to solving problems of building and configuring a network and to generate interest in research and practical activities. to note that the Faculty of Information Technologies of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyova is holding the now traditional Olympiad in network technologies among students, teachers of colleges and schools in conjunction with the Kazakh Academy of Infocommunications. ASTEL always supports young talented specialists, and was glad to take an active part and provide gifts to the winners of the CISCO STARS-2019 Olympiad.

Training and support of young specialists is an important task performed by ASTEL. We always strive to support talented students, not only by participating as sponsors in olympiads and competitions organized by universities, but also by holding our own competitions and accepting the best students of technical universities for internships. which the best students of the leading technical universities of Kazakhstan took part in the competition, and the winners won an annual scholarship from ASTEL and had the opportunity to undergo an internship in our company.
