Participation of JSC "ASTEL" in the ethno festival "Kokmaisa-2018"

JSC "ASTEL" in honor of its 25th anniversary, in the period from 6 to 9 May 2018, took part in the ethnic festival "Kokmaisa-2018" in the Ulytau district of the Karaganda region. As part of the sponsorship, free access to Internet services was organized for the participants of the festival throughout the entire route of the convoy, as well as in the base camp of the festival.

 

The festival "Kokmaisa-2018" was held with the aim of popularizing and developing domestic tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the tourist potential of the Ulytau region, as well as in order to popularize the traditional festive rituals "Biebailau", "Aigyr kosu", "Kymyz Muryndyk", included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Elements heritage of Kazakhstan.

 

Within the framework of the festival, a tourist route was organized with a visit to iconic places of the Ulytau region, such as: the mausoleums of Zhoshy Khan, Alasha Khan, Dombauyl, Mount Edyge, the famous place Altyn Shoky, Khan Orda and others. The total length of the tourist route was several hundred kilometers along the steppe roads of the region. The number of festival participants far exceeded the expected and amounted to more than 2000 people. Throughout the festival route, the convoy was followed by a Niva car with an Automotive Communication Kit (AKS) installed on it, with the help of which access to the Internet and telephone services was organized at the stops of the festival column.

 

In the base camp of the festival, in addition to the AKS, the latest development of ASTEL JSC was involved - the Small Satellite Complex (MSC), with the help of which access to Internet services was organized in the interests of Kazakhstani and foreign media - journalists, bloggers and guests of the festival.

 

The active participation of ASTEL JSC in the festival was marked by gratitude from the State Institution “Akim's Office of the Ulytau Region” and the State Enterprise “National Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve-Museum“ Ulytau ”of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
